What do you think about the origins of political correctness?

Without Rush Limbaugh we would be living in Socialist hell right now. It is possible for the right to go too far too but that is a lot further away than Socialism in this day and age. Read the Constitution literally word for word (eg the 10th Amendment) and tell me we have not gone way way left. When the left reads it, they read things into it. They tell us we need scholars to interpret it as if the founders ever wrote it with the intention that only scholars understand it.
