Who will the 2006 Congressional elections end up helping morein 2008?

That is such a tough question- as it seems the people voted IN the democrats to have change and yet we've had very very little. I think that the Democrats takeover of the Congress (specifically the House) in the midterm elections of 2006 will show the United States citizens just what the democrats are willing to do. However, this does not mean that we are going to turn to the Republicans instead because the Democrats are doing a lot of talking. As I once read, the United States votes for whomever they hate less- pretty sad if you think about a democracy. In all honesty, I think that it is going to be close either way- as the midterms weren't a landslide victory. The democrats have got to pull together if they want to accomplish anything, the Republicans have got to do the same, and any other party that wants a shot better start getting some publicity because who knows- things are really weird in our government today. =)
