Can I keep people from sending me those annoying Gifts on Facebook?

I keep getting bombarded with (sometimes crude) gifts on Facebook and I have no idea who from. There are too many gift applications to delete the apps. Can I block individuals from sending me stuff? PLEASE HELP!
