Any ideas on how to make my 8 mth old pom. to stop playing with her poo when I'm not home?

She uses only puppy pads..that's how i trained her because i don't want her outside and get fleas! when i'm home she poos and walks away from it and i pick it up..but when im not home she spreads it all over the house!
