I fell on some ice outside of my apartment, can I make them pay for my doctors bills.?

I live in an apartment building in Northern Ohio so snow is very common. They always plow but they never put salt down and I end up slipping. Today was the fifth time I have slipped on ice, and only the second time I have reported it. I already had a bad knee and I have doctors bills for that and this time I fell I did not want to go to the doctors because it is too much money. However when I fell my whole knee hurt and the pain goes all the way into the my thigh and hip.I am not being clumsy and I do not want to sue them for a million dollars, I just want them to pay for my doctors bills if I go. Is there any gaurantee that they would pay for it before I gp sp I dp not get stuck with more bills. And how can I get them to salt so this does not happen again.
