My horn is broken on my 1991 ford probe?

My horn was broken when i bought the vehicle. It made a grinding noise before and we thought it was fun to play with and then it just stopped working all together now. How do i fix it and where is it? it sounded like it was on the penger side of the vehicle towards the front. Also i was thinking about replacing it with a dixie horn. how would i do that?
