Moms, I have a quick question about going back to work and taxes?

I am going back to work only part time tho. I will be about 60-70 dollars a weekend. It will be enough to pay for her diapers,formula and everything that she may need for that month. However I became a stay at home mom and on our 2009 taxes we filed jointly. Now that I will be working,would it be better to file together or sepertly? Will it affect much of our taxes? 2 days ago started having itching on one side of my face (right side underneath the jaw line). It has spread to itching on my neck just on the ride side. My right shoulder and to the right of my armpit and a little below that on my torso itch now too. I have small little bumps but they don't seem to red or too big. They do not hurt. There is no itching on my left side. I had shingles once before when I was in Jr. High. I have 'googled' symptoms of shingles but the bumps do not resemble them (not in a big cluster of bumps) and I did not have any pain or nausea before hand. I did have a couple of headaches a few days ago but that was it. Could this be shingles or a different kind of allergic reaction? I have exczema and I have prescription cream for it and have put it on the areas where it itches but it doesn't seem to help.

Wireless Configuration help please!!!!!!?

Hi, I bought a Lynksis Wireless Router by Cisco a couple months back. My configuration worked to its best. My network works with this software called Home Network Defender that i suppose installs along with the router software. My big problem is that, a week ago this huge jack decided to push the reset on on the back of the router, resetting the configuration to default. Now my level of restriction went down to limited access. Home Network Defender is the software that controls these levels and parental control tools. When I try to move back my restriction level to "Full Access" the software tells me i have to renew my license. Like seriously? Does anyone have this same problem? I am not paying to renew it. I think is very unfair, since all i want is a secure and stable connection instead of having a restricted access caused by this shitty program i don't even want! Does anyone know how to set the configuration to grant me full access without using this program Home Network Defender please!! any help would be appreciated.

Great, there is a whole group of young ones that are regular and auxilary pioneers plus a couple of oldies as well, it has about 65 publishers and there is about 8 pioneers, very encouraging, we have 3 elders, as well. I have only been in this congregation for 4 months dont know how many ministerial servants, my las congregation i was there for 12years had a great group of pioneers lots of young and old very encouraging the only thing is we didnt have a kingdom hall and havent had one for the 12 years hiring a cl room which is weird as it is a well to do area. DB is correct as far as being able to use regular salt (you can substitute kosher salt for regular when the salt is dissolving), and also that it would take less regular salt than kosher salt - however when substituting kosher salt for regular salt - if you were using 1 teaspoon you would add 1/4 to 1/2 more of the kosher salt. So if you're figuring in cups - you would use 1 1/2 cups of regular as opposed to 2 cups of kosher. This isn't because it's saltier, but because regular salt is fine and more of it fits in a cup than kosher salt.

That is such a tough question- as it seems the people voted IN the democrats to have change and yet we've had very very little. I think that the Democrats takeover of the Congress (specifically the House) in the midterm elections of 2006 will show the United States citizens just what the democrats are willing to do. However, this does not mean that we are going to turn to the Republicans instead because the Democrats are doing a lot of talking. As I once read, the United States votes for whomever they hate less- pretty sad if you think about a democracy. In all honesty, I think that it is going to be close either way- as the midterms weren't a landslide victory. The democrats have got to pull together if they want to accomplish anything, the Republicans have got to do the same, and any other party that wants a shot better start getting some publicity because who knows- things are really weird in our government today. =)

Has the car had any maintenance lately? I would change the spark plugs, spark plug wires, air cleaner filter, check and possible change distributor cap and rotor. Any good mechanic would start with this anyway and you can probably do it yourself, although there are 2 plugs on a V6 at the firewall that are a little hard to get. After that it could be O2 sensor,MAP or TPS. Hope this helps.

Is this a urinary tract infection? HELP!?

This morning i woke up and I went to pee and it hurt like no other. It sent that excruciating pain through my body and up my spine; the kind of pain that makes you feel like your going to vomit. I have had a UTI before and it most definately was painful but it gave me the constant "gotta go" feeling and it didn't hurt nearly this bad while i peed. When I had the UTI the pain was mostly on in the beggining and end of my stream and it was a burn. This is I can't even describe how bad it hurts. It feels like a boulder was dropped in my bladder pushing it down while I try to pee and that is such a huge pain it's hard to even notoice the incredible burn. It's terrible what do i do? The doctor is not an option at the moment i say very unfortunately :/! I know that i am supposed to flush my system and drink tons of water but i just can't. I am actually a very pain tollerable person no joke I can't do this though I can't handle this more than twice a day. Has my brith control caused my hormones to be messed up?

When I was 15 I was put on birth control because I was having bad periods. After about a year and a half the doctor took me off because I was not ually active and they wanted to see how my body would react on its own. Then not too long after I was having some anxiety and major trouble sleeping. I dealt with that for a few months and then later went back on birth control which I think was when I was having the problems. I went back on because I was ually active. The problems stopped. I was 18 at this point. Then at age 21 I went on lexapro for slight anxiety which was very minimal. Between the birth control and the lexapro I was sleeping great and my anxiety problems were obsolete. Now at age 27 my husband and I wanted to start having kids. I went off of Birth control and lexapro in July of 2009. In November I started having really bad anxiety and insomnia. To the point were I couldn't stop shaking, my heart would pound and I just definitely didn't fell like myself. My doctor has checked out thyroidism and several other things but has decided on anxiety and put me on Zoloft. I feel a lot better but still not completely myself. And I still can't get pregnant. My husband and I have been trying for almost a year. Do you think that because I was on birth control for about 12 years where almost 10 were consecutive, that my hormones are messed up and that is what is causing my anxiety problems. Is there anything I can do? I know I can't get pregnant if I continue like this - help!

I live in an apartment building in Northern Ohio so snow is very common. They always plow but they never put salt down and I end up slipping. How can I get along better with my mom?

I'm 15 years old, and I've been fighting with her over almost everything since I was 10. I know I'm not blameless, I talk back to her, but only when she gets mad or yells, and I understand that's not an excuse. She's not a bad mom or a helicopter mom, she doesn't care what music I listen to, and lets me watch the t.v I want to watch, and lets me wear what I want, as long as I don't dress inappropriately. Our opinions are polar opposites. And whenever I ask her for help or advice on my friends, she acts extremely condescending and just insults my friends and their actions. I want to be able to talk to her about things, and ask for advice, but I just don't even feel like she's my mom, just a boss. I am not a relative, but I am taking care of a friend who is disabled and a diabetic. can I get paid?

I have to cean, cook and do dishes, shop, do his books, he won't wear depends so I have to thoroughly clean the bathroom 2-3 times per day, I do the laundry, wound care, insulin and blood pressure 2 x a day. He is on tons of medications which I place in the appropriate boxes for him to take during the day. I have to put lotion on his leg here there is some sort of burn and I also mow the 5 acre lot lawn, plow it, get the mail (1/4 mile walk) and put 2 trash barrels out each week a 1/4 mile away. I also do small maintenance on his large house and am handling several legal matters for him. He is a disabled veteran. I also have to help him dress and bathe him as he cannot put pants or underwear on by himself. Last week, he fell in the bathroom and broke a rib so he is even worse off. This takes up almost all of my time.

I do love afros. I would not wear a hat. Wear your afro neat and explain to them you normally wear your hair braided and you were supposed to have it done this morning but something came up with the stylist. When I had a nose ring I would always explain on interviews that I could take it out if I were hired but I was unable to take it out before the interview because it had to be cut out (it was never true I just didn't ever want to have to take it out). I never had any problems and got several jobs even with the nose ring. I think they will appreciate your honesty. It might end up being a plus that you didn't get your hair braided.

I'm 5' 1, 100 pounds and I already do a lot of cardio. I have a flat stomach but I'm wanting abs. I can't pinch fat on my stomach except for a little bit at the bottom. I also want toned arms. I'm lifting 3 pound weights (150 repetitions) and doing 200 sit ups 5 days a week along with my usual cardio and increased protein intake. Will this work?

18 month old crying at the gym daycare?

I took my 18 month old to the gym daycare and he was fine at first. He ran in and started playing. Like with any group there are good ones and bad ones. Before you take that comment the wrong way I think there are also good and bad Christians. But my general opinion is that atheists are pretty cool people and they know how to have fun. Everyone has the right to decide for themselves what they believe. I wanted to get a relaxer and get more micros in, so they can be fresh for school.I hear that you have to wait three days after you get a relaxer to get braids back in, but i haven't really tried it. Also, I tried not getting my hair relaxer before and now my hair is so coarse that i can hear it crackling against the hair brush when i brush the front of it. So regardless, i'm getting new microbraids i just wanna know when is a good time to take them out, get a relaxer and put them back in. Thanks in advance :)

A lot of times the pregnancy hormones are still to low to stop your period from happening or maybe your body is just so used menstruating and did it out of habit. It being an abnormal period is why I think that. If you are pregnant, It will show up now. So take a regular Dollar Tree test, it's just as accurate and even if you're not it will stop your worries.

Furnace constantly blowing cool air, but house staying at 70?

We have American Comfort and have lived in a new built home for about 8 1/2 yrs, it's as old as the home. We have noticed it only seems to blow out cool air, once in a while lukewarm air, but either way you freeze if you are under a vent(in the ceiling). We are a one story home. Somehow we manage to stay at 70 all the time, but I don't understand why the air is so chilly that is coming out. I know it isn't only at the start or end of the furnace coming on and off because we have monitored it. The thermostat is set to Auto Fan and on heat. Any ideas what may be going on?

03 Chevy Impala no overdrive FWD?

This past Tuesday, I was coming home from skiing and went into a ditch on the right side of the road. The front end of the car was filled with snow and I had to get a tow truck to get my car out. The tow truck pulled it out from the front end. Before I left to drive home in the same car I cleared most of the snow out of in front of the radiator. The car was working, but I had to take it slow to prevent the engine from overheating because of the snow build up. The day after I toke it out for a drive and noticed a loud humming sound when driving faster than 35mph. I think that the car isn't shifting into overdrive. Am I right to say that the problem is with the overdrive? And what can I do or check to fix it? I intern at a dealership and I am going to take it there around 5:30 today. Thanks

Salary vs. hourly rate?

Boss put me on salary without letting me know. They had talked to me about it months ago but was told I don't have enough people under me to make me salary so I stayed hourly. Cost of ripping off roof, raising first floor ceiling?

My cabin needs a remodel. Appr 840 sq ft on first floor. Need to raise ceiling by 1' (outside is cedar siding, not shingles) & "re-do" second floor under the roof (don't know correct terminology - can't see a second floor from street but it's under there!). Want "basic" finish - nice sheetrocked, painted walls/ carpeted floors/can ceiling light fixtures/but DO want upgraded architectural roof shingles, not just vanilla asphalt type. No fancy roof lines - just a rectangular base - although 2 dormers in the front. I'm GUESSING finished square footage of 2 new bedrooms with closets/1 bath - shower only/some unfinished storage under roof to be around 650 square feet +/-. No prior bath upstairs - will need to run "pipes" & downstairs bath isn't directly beneath but maybe need to rethink location of upstairs bath so as to utilize downstairs config. Pacific NW - not year around resident. ANY idea - ballpark - as to what to expect PSF for this before I get my heart set on it?
