I was asked about the expected salary at my interview recently. I told them ofcourse it depends on job responsibilities as well as the range that they offer for this position. The interviewer was silent and I told her what I am making now. Before I was told by a friend that their salary is lower than my current one but later I found out that theirs is pretty much the same, do I have room for negotiation?
