What do you guys think "I am still a raisin in the sun, raging against the machine" mean?

I'm not entirely sure, but I read "A Raisin in the Sun." this past year in English. The raisin in the sun reference is talking about how dreams were often quashed, especially with African-Americans during the time that the book was written. I believe it's still saying I'm still struggling, trying to go against what everyone else says. It's like he's saying he's still dreaming and trying to make his dreams come true.
