I have a second interview at the buckle, my hair is in a wreck?

I do love afros. I would not wear a hat. Wear your afro neat and explain to them you normally wear your hair braided and you were supposed to have it done this morning but something came up with the stylist. When I had a nose ring I would always explain on interviews that I could take it out if I were hired but I was unable to take it out before the interview because it had to be cut out (it was never true I just didn't ever want to have to take it out). I never had any problems and got several jobs even with the nose ring. I think they will appreciate your honesty. It might end up being a plus that you didn't get your hair braided.
